Our Roots and Values
Kaluste Päivärinta has always been proud of its family-business heritage in Finland, firmly grounded in Finnish manufacture, sustainability and the quality of bespoke craftsmanship.
Sustainability as Part of Our Operations
In 2024 we took part in a sustainability project that prompted us to examine the impacts of our operations more deeply and to seek ways to develop our work from a sustainable-development perspective. The project provided valuable insights and tools on which we can build long-term solutions.
Sustainability as a Guiding Value
Sustainability has been central to our work from the start. In 2025 we have elevated responsibility even more clearly to a guiding value. It sets our direction as we look for better, more environmentally friendly solutions. At the same time, we pause to evaluate our practices and learn, enabling us to progress step by step towards better practice.
Tangible Actions
For us, sustainability means, for example, critically reviewing our material choices, adopting more energy-efficient solutions,and taking into account our partners’ sustainability standards and practices. In this way we ensure our operations are as sustainable as possible and that the solutions we deliver to customers are long-lasting.

Our values—Finnish manufacture, family-business traditions, sustainability and bespoke production—are the cornerstones of everything we do. On this basis, we aim to build a future in which high-quality, long-lasting solutions serve our customers for generations.
