2024
Responsibility Project
During 2024, we took part in a responsibility project that led us to examine the impacts of our operations in greater depth and look for ways to develop our work from the perspective of sustainable development.
Through the project, we gained valuable knowledge and tools that help us build long-term solutions.
2025
Production Reorganisation and Product Development
Our production was moved entirely to Kuusamo. We make furniture to order, which means there is no stock waste. The furniture has been granted the right to use the Key Flag Symbol and the Design from Finland mark.
In 2025, we worked closely in product development with Finnish and European pioneers in the circular economy.
We selected all Pisara partners from Finland and elsewhere in the EU to keep the supply chain transparent and high quality. Our partners are operators who take responsibility seriously, and the collection includes, for example, basins made from recycled materials.
2026
Pisara Pure: Furniture Made from Recycled Materials
In 2026, Pisara’s wood-based furniture material became part of our history as we introduced a new cabinet core based on recycled raw material.
The solution reduces the need for virgin raw materials in furniture production and extends the life cycle of the furniture.

We are also taking time to evaluate our ways of working and learn more, so that we can keep moving step by step towards better practices.
For us, responsibility means taking a critical look at material choices, using more energy efficient solutions and considering the responsibility of our partners. This helps us make our own operations as sustainable as possible and ensure that the solutions we create for our customers are built for a long life.
